Vulkalent G (CTP) – CTP retarder PVI
Pre-vulcanisation inhibitor (PVI). The industry-standard retarder that extends scorch time in sulphenamide sulphur systems without hurting cure rate or final properties; its effect is linear and predictable with dosage.

Frequently asked questions
Does CTP work in thiazole or thiuram systems?
It is most effective in sulphenamide systems; in thiazoles and thiurams its effect is limited.
What is the downside of too much CTP?
Above 0.5 phr bloom and a slight modulus drop can appear; 0.2–0.3 phr is usually enough.
