Active zinc oxide: Zinkoxyd Aktiv
Zinc oxide is the basic activator of sulphur vulcanisation. Active zinc oxide delivers the same effect at a much lower dosage thanks to its very small particle size and high BET surface area; this reduces the environmental zinc load and gives clarity in transparent and light-coloured compounds. The dispersion advantage is pronounced in latex and thin-section goods.
