Zinkoxyd Aktiv (ZnO) – Active zinc oxide
Active zinc oxide with a BET surface area of about 45 m²/g. Activates sulphur vulcanisation at roughly half the dosage of conventional zinc oxide; gives clarity in transparent and light-coloured compounds and superior dispersion in latex and thin goods.

Frequently asked questions
How different is active zinc oxide from normal ZnO?
Much smaller particle size and ~10× the surface area; hence 1–3 phr instead of 3–5 phr.
Does it change cure rate?
At equal zinc activity the cure profile is preserved; verify with a rheometer when reducing dosage.
