Non-staining, non-discolouring phenolic antioxidant. Provides oxidation protection in light-coloured and white rubber compounds, latex and adhesives; also used as a stabiliser in synthetic rubbers.

Is BHT volatile?
BHT is a comparatively volatile phenolic antioxidant; for long-term protection at high temperature combine with BKF or MMBI.
Does BHT protect against ozone?
No; for ozone add the non-staining Vulkazon AFS or a wax.
