Delayed-action sulphenamide accelerator; the most widely used primary accelerator in the tyre and technical rubber industries. Good scorch safety, fast cure and high modulus; can be boosted with thiuram or guanidine secondaries.

What is the difference between CBS and TBBS?
Both are sulphenamides; TBBS gives slightly longer scorch and slightly higher modulus. CBS recipe knowledge is more widespread in Turkey.
What is the nitrosamine status of CBS?
Being cyclohexylamine-based, CBS belongs to the 'safe' sulphenamides that do not form carcinogenic nitrosamines.
