Vulkacit DM/C (MBTS) – MBTS accelerator
Thiazole-type, medium-speed general-purpose accelerator. Better scorch safety than MBT; used alone or with sulphenamides, thiurams and guanidines. A staple of technical-goods recipes thanks to its broad polymer compatibility.

Frequently asked questions
MBTS or CBS?
CBS for high cure rate and modulus; MBTS for flexibility, economy and low-temperature cures. Many recipes use both.
What is the role of MBTS in EPDM?
MBTS + TMTD/ZDBC combinations are standard in EPDM; MBTS provides the base crosslinking.
