Vulkacit ZM (ZMBT) – ZMBT latex accelerator
The zinc salt of MBT; a thiazole accelerator for latex and EPDM compounds. In latex foam and dipped goods it is the standard system together with dithiocarbamates; in EPDM it works as a secondary accelerator.

Does ZMBT replace zinc oxide?
No; zinc oxide is still required as activator, ZMBT is an accelerator.
